Cafe Vivaldi

Cafe Vivaldi manages to exude the classic 1960s Greenwich Village charm, despite having opened in the 1980s. Woody Allen chose it for a scene from Bullets Over Broadway and the bar features live piano music, coffee, and a low-key crow. Perhaps what root it in the sixties is the afterglow of the iconic event that took place just outside: Bob Dylan and his then-girlfriend, the artist Suze Rotolo, walked arm in arm to shoot the cover of The Freewheelin' in 1963.
