The Maritime Hotel
From porthole to just plain pimpery. The maritime building was originally designed as the headquarters for the sailor's union in the 60's. It later became a shelter for estranged teenagers. In its final incarnation, it is the genius brainchild of hoteliers McPherson and Goode, who turned its tiny rooms into a place where any A-list celebrity would be happy to cast down their anchor and spend the night. In addition to the fabulous hotel, the space boasts Japanese restaurant Matsuri, a mediocre Italian restaurant, and a nightclub called Hiro.
