Coffee Shop
A New York institution, although no one is quite sure why, Coffee Shop occupies one of the busiest and most desirable locations in all of town, smack in the middle of Union Square. The restaurant is popular among young yuppies and NYU students because of its later night hours. The food can be characterized as Brazilian and the décor is retro drab, but the most distinguishing feature of the place is the beautiful and utterly unresponsive wait staff. These out of work models and actors are always quick to provide you with some unnecessary attitude during your dining experience. However, dining outside during the hot summer months can be absolutely delightful if you don’t mind mediocre food and poor service.
Like oh my god! Like oh my god! It's Mr. Big from Sexy and the City. Ok, so maybe it wasn't quite like that. But it still was cool.
