The Dark Room

The Dark Room remains one of the Lower East Side’s most unadulterated watering holes. It is situated in a basement and has a dark and cavernous feel. The floors are as dirty and sticky as they can be, but no one cares because every patron is rocking out to excellent rock music played by the DJ. The Dark Room is definitely an authentic Lower East Side experience.

NYE 05 at the Dark Room

The night started in Brooklyn without any suitable NYE celebration spot in sight. Then came a white limo that whisked us away to the Dark Room where the champaign flowed like water.
