Though largely relegated to landmark landscape duties these days, the Bandshell still hosts concerts periodically with permission from the Parks Department. Details on these shows, mostly classical music, can be found online. |

Bike Tour
The nearby 72nd St entrance to Central Park is – on a pleasant day – packed with circling bike taxis. These guys may intimidate you with their massive calf muscles, but are in general extremely friendly, and very knowledgeable. See the city in a different way. |
