Our Lady of Sorrows Basilica

Over 100 years ago, Our Lady of Sorrows Basilica was built in the East Garfield Park neighborhood of Chicago. The Basilica is the home of the National Shrine of St. Peregine, the patron saint of those suffereing from cancer.

Over the years, Our Lady of Sorrows has served Irish, Italian, and most currently African American congregations.
